HSA/FSA questions
What’s the difference between an HSA and an FSA?
An HSA pairs with a high-deductible health plan and the balance rolls over every year. An FSA is usually employer-sponsored and often must be used within the plan year. Both let you spend pre-tax dollars on qualified expenses.
What is a Letter of Medical Necessity?
A document from a licensed healthcare provider confirming a product is medically necessary for you, which makes it eligible for HSA/FSA spending. Flex connects you with a clinician through a short online chat during checkout.
Is approval guaranteed?
No. The clinician decides based on IRS guidelines and your situation. If you don’t qualify, you can complete your order with a credit card, PayPal, or Affirm financing.
Why was my HSA/FSA card declined?
HSA and FSA cards work like debit cards, so the most common reason is an insufficient balance. Check your available funds with your plan administrator, or split the payment.
Who do I contact with questions?
For the consultation, your letter, or your Flex receipt, email support@withflex.com. For your chair or order, call 1-877-217-2862 or email sales@fujiiryoki.com.
