What is a Refurbished Chair?
A refurbished chair is a product that was returned due to buyer’s remorse rather than any functional defect. In most cases, the customer simply changed their mind, ordered the wrong color, or decided to upgrade to a higher-end model. These chairs were used or tested in the home for 60 days or less before being returned.
Once received at our warehouse, each chair undergoes a thorough inspection and is graded for condition. Any signs of shipping damage or wear are identified, and the chair is then refurbished to meet “A” grade standards. This means the chair is in open-box condition and may have minor cosmetic imperfections — such as small rub marks or slight fabric blemishes — but no significant or noticeable damage. The chair is fully tested to ensure it meets the manufacturer’s performance specifications.
The overall condition is comparable to, or better than, what you might expect from a floor model in a retail showroom. After inspection and refurbishment, the chair is reboxed and prepared for shipment.
